The organizing committee for TUFH 2025 wants to achieve a high attendance of students, (young) professionals from low and middle income countries and community members IN PERSON. So we have a unique opportunity where you can apply for the TUFH 2025 Bursary that will provide you a 50% DISCOUNT on your physical registration AND FREE SHARED accommodation from September 11 – September 16, 2025 (5 nights). You have to cover all travel expenses, living expenses, VISA expenses and other expenses.

 

The Office of the Secretariat will send successful applications an invoice for physical registration with a 50% discount. Woods System of Care will book your shared accommodation. 

To ensure your final receipt of the TUFH 2025 bursary, you must pay your registration invoice by March 31, 2025 and submit evidence of flight and transport. You will need to provide your passport and an authorized VISA (if necessary).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • An active TUFH Membership (https://thenetworktufh.org/membership/) 
  • An accepted abstract for TUFH 2025 (Abstract submission is open from October 15, 2024. Oral Presentations can be accepted on a rolling basis. You can provide the information of your submitted abstract, even if you do not know if it is accepted yet.)
  • You have a financial disadvantage (proof will need to be provided)
  • Not eligible if you have received grants and/or scholarships from TUFH in the past
  • You must provide the following documents in this application:
  1. Statement of cost for your attendance to the conference (travel, VISA, living expenses)
  2. Income statements, expense receipts, proof of financial disadvantage (if any)
  3. Proof of residency or employment in rural/underserved areas (if applicable)
  4. Statement addressing underrepresented background (if applicable)
  5. CV/resume, documentation of past projects/initiatives
  6. Well-written application statement, clear goals and objectives for conference attendance
  7. Statement of career goals, examples of past impact, proposed conference contributions
  8. Letter of recommendation from supervisor, mentor, or colleague
  9. Student ID, proof of enrollment, proof of recent gradution (if applicable)
This application requires personal information, the Organizing Committee will follow the Protection of Personal Information Act.
There are 40 bursaries available that will be distributed evenly to
  • 10 students
  • 10 young health professionals
  • 10 professionals from low and middle income countries
  • 10 community members
If awarded this bursary, you will be required to provide written and video statements of how this bursary helps/influences your life/carreer.

By registering for TUFH 2025, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions! 
 

Acknowledgment of Registration

Your registration will be acknowledged via email with a confirmation of your booking, upon receipt of your completed registration form and payment through credit card. All updates regarding the conference will be posted on the conference website: https://tufh2025.com/.

 

Refund Policy

The organizers incurs significant expenses before the event. Therefore we must maintain the following refund policy:

The Organizing Committee will NOT refund any tickets for the TUFH 2025 Conference paid for from March 31st, 2025 onwards.
With the exception of participants that have paid a ticket for the physical conference and should receive VISA denials, the conference will be switched to a fully virtual conference. Those participants will be rebooked for the virtual conference and the excess will be refunded or can be donated.

No-shows will not be refunded for any reason. No exceptions.
We do not give credit toward future conferences or other products.

Registrations are fully transferable. Exception: Scholarship registrations that are given to a specific person. To transfer a registration email secretariat@thenetworktufh.org with the following information about the new attendee: first name, last name, email address, country, organization.

 

Privacy Policy

All relevant delegate details will be stored in a database used by The Network: TUFH to manage the registration process and conference organization. A list of delegate names and contact details will be retained by The Network: TUFH and will be used to send conference-related information. Delegate names and contact details will be supplied to all co-hosts, but will not be passed on or sold to any other organizations. For networking purposes, a delegate list will be provided to all conference delegates.

If you have an accepted abstract, you acknowledge and agree that The Network: TUFH, Woods System of Care, the organizing committee of this conference, and sponsors of this conference may edit and publish in any of their digital or printed communications or publications, including but not limited to, websites, social media outlets, newsletters, annual reports, and promotional materials;  the information provided including but not limited to the full abstract, your name, co-author information, pictures, and institutions.

 

Mailing Lists

By registering for TUFH 2025, I agree to be added to the mailing lists of The Network: Towards Unity For Health. I can opt out of these mailing lists in any e-mails received.

 

Delegate Release Agreement

I give my permission for photographs and other images or likenesses, statements whether oral or in writing, audio/ visual recordings (including transcripts) of me to be recorded, copied, edited, adapted, modified, exhibited, and distributed for editorial, trade, advertising and training purposes.

I understand that The Network: TUFH may sublicence these rights for advertising, promotional and educational purposes. 

I will not receive any payment or consideration in agreening to this release.

Certified resident/vocational trainee in general practice/family medicine up to 5 years after qualification from this vocation or residency program. Any young professionals in the health sector who graduated in the last 5 five years (for TUFH they need First Fiver Membership).
